Many people feel as if they are adrift in the world. They work hard but they don’t seem to get anywhere worthwhile. A key reason that they feel this way is that they haven’t spent enough time thinking about what they want from life and haven’t set themselves formal goals. After all, would you set out on a major journey with no real idea of your destination? Probably not! Goals are powerful motivators for developing your career. Goals are necessary to Guide your life, organise it, make you develop your personality in the right direction. They give one a sense of self-esteem/self-respect. They improve self-confidence too. To avoid any possibility of failure, they would rather not have a goal, even if that means they have to give up on their dreams. But people fail to understand that life is worth nothing if it is not a continuous overcoming of problems. Any escape from problems, physical or mental, is an escape from life, as there can be no life that is not full of problems.
